NEW WORK: HAM Launches Site for NYC's Save The Garment Center
After months of work and some whirlwind trips to New York City, we’re proud to announce the launch of Save The Garment Center, an amazing non-profit trade association dedicated to saving NYC as the fashion capital of the world.
The Garment Center as a cause is a complicated one but incredibly relevant to today’s economic issues and the upcoming election. The quote on the homepage sums it up perfectly: “If consumers spent just an extra 1% on U.S. goods it would create 200,000 jobs. Save the Garment Center’s mission is to encourage, highlight and promote Made in NYC and Made in America.”
Spend some time poking around the site and learning about the cause, find out how you can buy American this holiday season and hey, if you’re in New York, visit the Garment Center, it’s a rich and interesting place.
