no fluff. all creative.

HAM maintains a deliberately small team that allows us to work only on projects we're passionate about and gives our clients direct access to the people that are actually making the creative.

You'll never have to worry about playing telephone between client, management, and creative. We view our relationships more as partnerships and we'll be right there alongside your team grinding out the best work possible.

Dylan came to design in his mid twenties, after getting his hands dirty as a printing pressman, an oar builder, + cook. He began his career in marketing, first at legendary indie label Yep Roc Records before moving into advertising as a Copywriter, Ass't Marketing DIrector, + eventually Creative Director.

Dylan has worked in Boston, NY, North Carolina, + New Hampshire and created work for clients including Sports Illustrated, Ford Motors, National Geographic, Subway, Time, + more. His work has been featured in numerous books, magazines, popular blogs, + on gallery walls.

In his free time Dylan designs + prints gig posters, teaches print making classes, rides crusty old motorcycles, + travels to far off (usually bizarre) locations around the globe. He lives across the bridge in Maine in a renovated barn with his wife + two cats.

Kristy's career began at the largest textile designer in North America where she designed patterns for clients ranging from Target to Ralph Lauren. She cut her teeth as an account executive, designer, and project manager at a storied NYC advertising agency where she managed and created work for accounts like Oracle, Lufthansa, + the New York Yankees, among others.

Kristy has won numerous awards for her concepts and writing + has been featured in national magazines, galleries, + international campaigns.

She has a passion for social justice work and she commits her time to RESULTS, a non profit anti-poverty organization based in DC, as a grassroots organizer.

When she's not saving the world or being the boss, you can find her devouring S. American fiction, punching through boards at her dojang, + petting her weirdo cats.

Kelsey is a talented graphic designer who received her education in the design program at the Maine College of Art before working at a notable ad agency in Burlington, Vermont where she produced snowboards for Burton + Forum.

She began at HAM as an intern in 2012 and became our first official employee in early 2014. She has a deep understanding of complicated layouts + grid systems and a talent for illustration - two skills that one person is rarely adept at simultaneously.

Kelsey is a Portsmouth native with a passion for all New England winters have to offer - if you can’t find her elbow deep in design, you’ll find her knee deep in snow.

For larger projects, HAM has the capability to build a team to compliment our in-house branding expertise. We have a roster of industry-leading freelancers in the areas of video production, sound design + scoring, web and app development, environmental design/build, and more.
